PRIVATE VILLA J.
Yahya was approached by the celebrated international designer Christian Liaigre to create a signature piece chandelier for the dining room of this exceptional villa in the heart of Delhi. The elegant, contemporary and minimal interior, intentionally bereft of superfluous decoration, was designed to showcase this 7 metre long oval-shaped chandelier that was inspired by the diverse influences of one of the World’s most unique and ancient civilisations to create a work of art that is neither of the East nor the West , yet is a fusion of styles that is rooted in the past but inspired by the future. This work is in progress and is due to be completed in 2015.
